A large scale diptych featuring snowy tones of white, cream, charcoal, navy and black. Part of a longer known passage, this painting references Proverbs 31:21 and intends to forecast a “doubly garmented” insulation for withstanding seasons. Threads of light blue and charcoal drips are set against a white backdrop. Contrasting black markings can be interpreted as long-healed scars that allow for a position of strength, better seeing or tearing through the snowy blanket.
