From Luke chapter 8 - She was broke. She was bleeding. She got a healing so powerful it went straight from Jesus into her body and stopped 12 years of disease. This painting was underpainted using red wine sourced from Northern Israel where this breakthrough miracle took place. Pigments and oils were mixed (with a dark red cabernet sauvignon) to create tones, textures and bubbles for contrasting movement against a white background.
